A sketch card is a trading card with original (not printed) artwork. Its dimensions usually are 6.4 x 8.9 cm (2.5 x 3.5 inches). This is the same current size of trading cards. Some artists prefer to keep the idea of a sketch card as literally that - à la 5 minute sketch. A sketch card is also a piece of art that can take however long and with as many mediums preferred.
