The Art Of Drawing And Collecting Sketch Cards And Art Cards

Today collecting trading cards is a very niche hobby with sketch cards being a main aspect of it. A sketch card is a trading card with original one of a kind (not printed) artwork. Some artists prefer to keep the idea of a sketch card as literally that - à la 5 minute sketch. A sketch card is also a piece of art that can take however long and with as many mediums preferred.

Some members of the community have proposed that these more laboured sketch cards be called “Art Cards”. I think I fit into the more Art Card category. My personal process fits more comfortably into very detailed artwork while utilising up to or more than 3 mediums.

9 Steps juggernaut drawing tutorial

A juggernaut is a literal or metaphorical force regarded as merciless, destructive, and unstoppable. The character gains various superhuman powers while acting as an avatar for the deity known as Cyttorak. You’d have seen him in the movies ‘X-Men: The Last Stand’ (2006), and more recently in ‘Deadpool 2’ (2018).

I want to share with you a sketch card a little different than my usual sketch card process. Instead of using acrylic paints throughout, I separated the process by using two other mediums.
